REFLEKTIF Will Soon Be Published

We have good news. We, as Istanbul Bilgi University, have been publishing a refereed journal at the end of a long journey, going through different stages for the last year. As an interdisciplinary, critical, and hopefully qualified social science magazine, REFLEKTİF Journal of Social Sciences, which will be bilingual in English and Turkish, will start publication on 1 October 2020.

 

In this period, when the academic field has shrunk globally, social sciences are seen as "secondary", and post-truth debates and anti-science arguments are widespread; It aims to create an environment where all researchers and academics who perpetually regard themselves as "students" will freely share their work with the public.

 

We think that it will be one of the most important legacies that we will leave to our students that scientists can confront themselves, freely share how their problems in forming the research problem and conducting their research, and how their choices transform them.
